Rodent Pest Species
Worldwide, Rodents are the largest group of mammals with over 2700 representative species. Only fourteen are present in Scotland. They include the Squirrels, Dormice and Voles as well as the Rats and Mice.
They are distinguished from other mammals by the characteristics of their teeth, particularly their continuously growing incisors that are used for gnawing. The name Rodent describes this gnawing characteristic and derives from the Latin word "rodere" which means to gnaw.
Our highly trained service technicians are able to rapidly eliminate any infestation. Contact Pest Solutions at our Glasgow, Edinburgh
or Aberdeen office for a service visit, survey or advice.
