Cryonite Non-Toxic Pest Control Technique

This technique has been thoroughly tested and is now in commercial use against many crawling insect pests around the world.

The medium is carbon dioxide snow which the Cryonite unit sprays from the specially designed nozzle. Through an optimal combination of particle size and speed, the necessary condition is created to make sure that bugs, including eggs and larvae will not survive.

The Cryonite unit can be transported in a regular car and is made for treatment in different surroundings. For example, pest control can be carried out in areas that otherwise are difficult to reach, like long pipes, deep crevices and complicated machines.

Cryonite is a unique and patented system that uses carbon dioxide to literally freeze insects to death.

As the method is non-poisonous evacuation of the sanitized area is not necessary. Pest control, for example at a production site in the food industry can be carried out despite production going on at adjacent production lines. Furthermore, using Cryonite in homes enables tenants to return immediately after treatment.

  • Effective against most crawling insect pests, including stored product pests and bed bugs.
  • Preserves a completely pesticide free environment.
  • Enables production to be continued during treatment, minimising production downtime.
  • Dry treatment with no residuals.
  • Allows direct contact with foodstuffs.
  • Safe and easy to operate.
  • Kills all stages of insect life-cycle, adults, larvae, pupae and eggs.
  • Reduces costs.
  • Kind to the environment - uses carbon dioxide produced as a by-product of other processes.

The Cryonite system consists of a unique patented lance connecting to a carbon dioxide cylinder with a flexiblecryonite_award.gif hose. The lance is extendable to permit good accessibility and ensure outstanding results even in difficult to reach areas.

Cryonite is easy to use with minimal personal protection. The absence of pesticides or residues means that treatment can take place without stopping production or evacuating staff.
